Ok just installed a set of wherli twin turbos on my dmax along with having my injectors hones, balanced and drip tested... Trucks white smoking at idle now..... Pulled the injectors back out and had them all rechecked. Come back at a 1cc variance across the board on idle, 10cc wot. All passed the drip test all have a awesome spray, according to the injection service, (diesel injections of louisville ky, certified bosch repair service). Been scratching my head on this thing for a few days, rates were completely perfect before the honing and balancing. I cleaned the ficm connections with contact cleaner, ice picked the harness and a few other lil things. Heres wats got me the most. Checked the balance rates to see why it was white smoking at idle, cyl 2 and 4 are stuck open at 15 positive side. All others are staying around 4.5 to 5, keep randomly changing values on me but the cyl 2 and 4 are consistanly 15. So wat i did was take my cyl 4 injector out and swapped it with cyl 3. Didnt change anything, Cyl 2 and 4 stayed at 15. Turned my ad pump down to 8psi at the ficm since i deleted my filter housing due to the twins.. Smoothed idle some but still smoking at idle. Any ideas where to go now? Rail pressure is bouncing from a min of 5420 to a max of 5990 at idle? values do not change in gear. cp3 has been modded for over 20k with modded reg and modded pump gear per diy.... I did however add the bigger cp3 inlet fitting while i was waiting on powder to be finished..... Anyone help? Please lol. Pulling my hair out on this thing... And yes all pucks r in the injectors
