Anybody tryed or knows anything about the new twin turbo kit from Industrail Injection they are cheaper than the MPI kit and from what I read will make close to same HP

Not meaning to stir the pot here but it seems like I remember the owners of said companies thrashing each other on another site over the II kit being a near exact clone of the MPI kit. What ever came of that I don't know, but there seems to be a large following with the MPI kits. Just my .02
At this site, there will only be comparisons of features, prices, and performance. The fact Industrial Injection has been accused of copying many different products is widely known in the diesel community. While I do not agree with copying people's work, if we permit that discussion, experience has shown that Features/Prices/Performance will not be discussed.
I don't know anyone running the Industrial Injection kit yet. Many folk are very happy with their MPI kits. My PPE kit is very well made as well. You could lift the truck off the ground using the turbo mount.

I completely agree, I have neither one. Just didn't want anyone to go without, wondering why they got no responses in their thread. Sorry to get ya blood boiling to start the day.

II kit says on the site that their TT dmax kit supports 650hp. Im sure a MPI kit will support ALOT more than that.
Six-gun_todd from Minnesota on another site is running them and seems to be pretty happy. I saw the setup with my own eyes (when I went out there) and they look pretty good. Nice clean job. While the actual turbo setup looks close to MPI, there were many differences. But how different can you get with a compound setup? In person the kit looks very nice though. The battery is relocated to under the pass door frame rail which is all I didnt like about the setup.
Its a s400 and stock turbo setup. I think it retails for $4k and I would assume the turbo is marked up pretty high as they will not sell there kit minus the turbo.

There are several ways you could set up twins, but the passenger side / engine mounted is the easiest and cheapest. It's the same side the exhaust is on, and driver's side of most American engines has the steering and brakes in the way. Pretty much all the Dodges are done that way.
But main question was if the mpi twins are $4800 and they will make 650 plus real wheel horse power and the industrail injection twins will make 650 plus real wheel horse power and cost $4000 ill get the same results and save $800 and all im wanting is to max out my stock motor limit without having to go to head stud rods and pistons cause im just a weekend warrior, 650 rwh is all I will ever need for anything.
But there is so many people with so many different ways to set up a duramax I have got more since out of Rob than anybody I have talked to and believe me I have worried the piss out of alot of ppl trying to add horsepower a safe and cheaper way cause I have friends who have spent 3 times as much as me and im just as fast and just as strong as they are.

Will The stock longblock last twinned @ 650 hp ? If so i'll put this on my list.

A . there is no garentee you will hit 650 ( with either brand twins) , also at 650 it may last but there are no garentee's . if the money cant be had if it breaks then better stay at 500 or so . there is no ryme or reason yet on why some trucks last and other do not . I personally beleive the twins help alot . Take it for what its worth
I wouldn't even bother with II twins when turbobuick is making a set for way cheaper that's just as good of quality if not better.

I think the kit will work on LMM or LBZ I will post more when I get the pricing and more info.Must run a vvt stock , chetta or a new 4094avnt
