why...? Would that be any different than an LLY or LBZ running twins?

Because all the turbos that have been used on a LB7 are basic non VVT turbos. Now since brayden has a Stand alone to use a VVT turbo on a LB7 they can use turbos like the cheetah, AVNT 4094, and many others. Where as they use to have to use a garret 4088, 4094, htt, or bd promax kit. All of which are basic turbos that do not use vains to make the charger lite faster or to hold boost on a large charger at highway speeds.

yeah...........I realize that...........

what I was asking was "why are people so anxious/gung ho to see what a VVT twin setup on an LB7 will do". Just look at what an LLY/LBZ twined dmax looks, sounds, and performs like and, well...theres your answer of what a twinned (with a VVT secondary) LB7 dmax would be like...

People are making it out like its gonna be this gee-whiz magic bullet rocket from mars that no one has seen before. As if we dont know what its gonna be like...

I tend to agree, the differences on a LB7 are subtle such as intake bridge and small things like that. IMO it will be very close to a LLY LBZ LMM and is not going to be "king of the hill" with the same turbo setup as a VVT original truck.
