Pro gun people are just as guilty as using situation to push their agenda as well, lets be fair here.

What agenda are you referring to ???

Do you ever see the press or the Dem's say anything positive when a armed citizen protects himself/herself and their family ??

The second amendment isn't so we can have the right to hunt, it was so the people could defend themselves from tyranny of an out of control government.

If pointing out that Democrats are using the tragedy for political gain is somehow not true please enlighten me.

;)

The pro gun people are always pushing for less gun control etc, now if you interpret that as defending your 2nd amendment rights or not, thats you. But, they have an agenda, just as the anti gun nuts do.

Both sides on the extreme ends have their heads in the sand when it comes to meeting at middle grounds.

Guns are not the problem, people who do bad things are the problem.

I would rather be well armed and able to defend my family then for them to be victims.

Just last couple years some very bad people broke into a CT home, invaded it, beat the husband unconscious, raped the man's wife and daughters, set them on fire and fled.

If you think I am a gun nut for wanting to do everything I can to protect my wife, daughter and sons then call me a nut.

Calling 911 is f'ing worthless, by the time they would get to me it would be way too late.

Sorry, but you won't convince me to give up anything.

But if you want to be un-armed and be a victim of a crime that is your business.

Wait wut?!

I am only saying that both sides of the gun debate have agendas and use stuff like the CT shooting to push them.

Sadly, here in NJ, I would be afraid of shooting an intruder out of fear of resultant lawsuits etc.

I was told by a state trooper and county deputies just make sure there's only one story and it's yours. And make sure they're inside.

Yup, I have been told that its best if you shoot to kill. In my case, two large dogs and a nice neighborhood scare most away, but still, who knows these days.

You NEVER shoot to wound and you NEVER shoot to kill... You shoot to stop the threat. If stopping the threat means a dirt nap for the bad guy... :dontknow: ...And that is the only way to ensure the threat is stopped... a hopped up wounded perp can be amazingly resilient.

Tony, truer words were never spoken... I used to have that in my sig on another site until some PC hippies decided it offended their senses

My agenda is "I haven't done anything wrong as the majority of gun owners have not as well. So leave me alone please, and thank you. :hello:"

"OMG-WTF-BBQ-SATURDAYNIGHTSPECIAL-HIGH-CAPACITY-CLIP-EQUIPPED-WEAPONS-OF-WAR-WITH-SHOULDER-THINGS-THAT-GO-UP" have been around a long long time. So now there is a very tragic event by a crazed mad man, and the gun control whackjobs (I'll go ahead and pre-emptivley include the "task force" whoever they are) using it as a springboard to push their agenda now that they see a window. It is sickening to me quite frankly.

I'm not much of a tin foiler, but if anybody thinks the President/VP isn't going to front load task force with gun grabbing libs and use the media to their full sensationalistic potential in pushing this......I think you're wrong. Not that there is going to be a public vote on this or anything, but in the world of people that don't have an attention span any longer than a segment of American Idol the pickings are ripe for "hope and change"

**** every single one of them out of principle alone.

And from our great state of Oregon:

Re: our pantywaist governor.... just see our speed limits and his comments on them in the past as an example.

Spokesman Tim Raphael said Wednesday the recent massacre at a Connecticut elementary school has caused everyone to consider these issues, and there's "clearly an opportunity to make progress" on the divisive issue of gun control.

Progress on an issue. Right. There's really only one direction to progress. What are they going to do, allow civ new machine gun sales again? What a bunch of dicks

Something tells me that this stay at home mom needs to do something other than spreading her legs and reproducing. Maybe instead of being on FB she could go clean the toilet or something.

This is the truth Dave.

I know you guys think MA is probably the last place to look for AR's but....you'd be wrong;)

$750 for Bushmaster Carbon-15's
$700 for Armalite
$850-$900 for Troy or YHM (particularly nice choices:thumb:)
and I can't advertise what I can get M&P 15's for, but it is under $500 if you buy the parts separate

I think .45 cal/230gr hydro-shoks will stop most anybody.

If they get thru 2 clips of those then the devil himself must be in that body !!!

As far as those AR-15 prices, see if you can find one thing available right now, I had to buy from 4 or 5 places just to finish one rifle I had not finished building yet.

;)

Be aware that when Kali restricted magazine rifles, they did some weapons retroactively. They had the balls to send out letters that told you to turn in your rifle that was purchased legally at the time. They didn't get a lot of compliance.

Crap like that (and SO MUCH MORE) is why I left. Haven't regretted it for an instant.

I take it then that they 'somehow' know who bought what firearm which is basically registration and the next step prior to confiscation. Had you not had that unfortunate boating accident of course...;)
