Ran the truck for the first time Wednesday night. Made 8 runs, best being a 12.62 @ 109mph with a 1.79 60'. Truck definitely has more in it, at least a couple tenths. Ran a 12.66@109mph with a 1.92 60', so with a better 60 that run would have been deep in the 12.50's.

Just installed a bullseye double bat s366 last week. Running the same tuning, just turned off the DTCs for vane control and boost. Turbo is hard to spool on the line, takes forever to get to 5lbs, then bam, 20lbs :roflmao:. as a result launching consistently was tough. Tuning will help with that.

I am definitely losing time during shifts. It is defueling hard during every shift, enough to rock me forward in the seat. Guys at the track thought I was driving a manual.:spit:

My cousin's 6.4 made me feel pretty bad today. 12.59 @ 106.5 with a 1.71 60'. Stock trans, fuel, with batmos in both stock turbos. Cc/sb loaded running an H&S 300 tune. Truck is wicked.

Ran again tonight after getting some new tunes. Logged the truck yesterday and we threw a little more fuel at it, would rather not post my PW and timing, will have people shaking their head... Lol.

Ran a best of 12.48 @ 110.2mph with a 1.79 60'.

I really need to look at the shifting, I am losing a ton of time. Kory said it would quicken up but after ten runs, plus a few pulls on the street prior, it is still shifting like ass. I did raise my shift rpm and speed for wot to 3350rpm, but might try a stock TCM tune. Holding 21k+ rail while requesting 24k, new spin on trans filter, stock tliq table. I don't think it is an ecm issue, it does it in every tune.

Oh and my damn cousins 6.4 ran a 12.42 @ 107 with a 1.66 60'..... Bastard.

I'd raise the shift points to about 3500 RPM.

edit: I just reread your first post and your last. Are you sure you aren't defueling because of higher RPM and some stock tables that don't allow you to run higher RPM? The stock TLIQ tables starts to defuel pretty hard after 3200 RPM.

That is exactly what I think it might be. I am going to load a stock TCM tune in the morning and try it out. Then talk to Kory about moving my shifts up.

Why don't you just try raising all the limiters to let your engine rev a little higher? Even with stock shift points, the transmission can still push past them and defuel when running the kind of power you are.

Just loaded a stock 01 TCM tune and gave it the beans after a little relearn. Definitely not hanging as much and all shifts are firmer. Will work from there and see about increasing rpm a bit.

So I did a little more testing and found a couple issues with the tuning. I ran a stock 01 TCM tune and it shifted much better, still blew past all the shift points by a few hundred rpm and would hang the 4-5 shift bad. Was romping on it and put it in 3 instead of drive by accident and the truck fell right off at 3600rpm and slooowwwlly climbed to 3700. Wouldnt go anymore even with it WOT. So even though the tune was calling for a 4200rpm rev limiter, it was limiting way early. Reloaded the tune and that problem disappeared.

Increased the shift points for the 2-3, 3-4 to 3500 and the 4-5 to 3600 and increased the desired torque in the TCM past 3200. Truck is totally different now. clicks off nice firm WOT shifts on all the tunes, and hits the desired shift rpm exactly. Unfortunately I wont be able to run it until maybe December since I am back out of the country, but hoping for good things.:woott:

Ran again today, made 9 passes, track was hooking very well. First run on my number 4 tune, 2950pw, was 12.30. The next 8 on my 5 tune were from 12.11 to 12.19. All with 1.69 to 1.72 60ft times. Launched at 15 psi every time, tried 18psi once and hopped bad, still pulled 1.72 60ft. Trans was shifting the best it ever has. Raised the 1-2 shift to 3700rpm, really reduced how much it defueled and dropped the nose.

12.11@112mph was best.
