Got robbed sometime this weekend. Robbers made off with several hundred feet of 300amp weld cable I had on my welding trailer and a cargo cover for a 5 ton truck.

If these ****s put half as much effort in getting a job as they do steeling shit this would be a much more productive world. Anyone who has had to buy cables this size knows how much this sucks. Stole it right in my dads driveway Deer cams up now

Thats it I'm get my surveilance stuff ordered. I keep looking at it but i have a deer cam but i want video. I had a cop tell me once "Video is everything in court" he's right. 6-700 system is not much when they steal things it can add up to alot more.

Yea the utility companies around here in Baltimore are having the wire stolen off the poles. They couldn't hook up the new service we did because they stole everything on the pole, they are going to start to paint all of their stuff green so when they go to scrap it they get caught. They had millions of dollars of wire stolen this year.

I work in the light rail industry as a mechanic on the passenger trains. All over head wire to power the train with huge 1.5" diameter cables grounding the rail to the sub stations. In some sections 30+ feet of that cable is visible and thieves cut it on a nightly basis. Probably $50,000 worth of cable every month is stolen.

They even try to steal the ¾" thick solid copper over head wire that is hot with 850 DC volts at 5000 amps. At least there somewhat smart and use fiberglass ladders...but don't realize the cable is under extreme tension and when they cut it, it about rips the person in half from smacking into them.

I know they want the copper out if it, the issue is once the case is off I could never indentify it. It's gone neighbor is a welder and a past drug abuser that has some shady ****s hangin around thinkin it went there. He also has a copper stripper that pulls the casing off the copper so... Yeah I hope it's not him, he is a good fella at heart but makes bad choices I will file police report tomorrow afternoon. The neighbors dad asked us to give him 24 hours before calling the police to see if he could figure somthing out.

With my neighbors history, if he farts too loud he is going back to Leavenworth,

Put signs up in yard that said "smile bitch your on camera" only have 3'deer cams but they only do snap shots motion floods are adjusted too see more and help cameras see

If more people had this mentality there would be a lot less thieving pos's. Sad to say, and I'm all for second chances. Everybody makes mistakes but if someone is out on bail for the 10th time and they go right back to doing the same things they just need to go away.

There have been 3 armed convenience store robberies in the last week within about 5 miles of my house. The last time they actually took off running down my road and are still in the wind. I've said before and I'll say it again, if someone breaks into my house I'll shoot first and call the cops second.

That's the thing if these *****s would break into that house, their shit would be weak. There a 63 year old 35 years active duty army 4 tours in nam, bad mother f'er in the house very well armed and well trained. Then there is me, I come and go all day and all night this time of year with the fields being worked and burned. But they sneak around in the dark like rats, hoping they don't wake him. He pulls weird hours gets up every morning on his own at 0130 comes and goes a lot, also sleeps very light a mouse dart wakes him up so it has to be someone who has watched us or just got lucky and neither of us were there.

I do believe in second chance when you can tell the person is good like my neighbor but he got in a LOT of trouble 10 years ago and ended up in Leavenworth for the second time, the first time he was arrested he was guilty by associationist just bad choices and it kills his father who is just an old farm boy. I truly hope and prey it wasn't my neighbor mostly just because I don't want it to be him doing shit like that, and second if we find out what we will have to do

Law needs to be mandatory carry for trained and stable men and women, if we had all ex GI's and private sector boys and police carryin a lot less shit would go down

Thanks fellas I really just needed to vent I think. It's a lost cause I guess I could use home owners it's a lot of money to recover. Not sure yet what to do I don't want to wait too long too call and file a police report. Tomorrow's a new day gonna chain and lock everything down I guess.

It's sad what this country has become. My father lives in a nice upper middle class country neighborhood. Not a rich community by any means but it takes money to live out there. At least I know I don't need to worry about him if something happens he will take care of it.

Ive always said it needs to go back to the old days with cash in your pocket and and a 6 shooter on your hip we would have a lot less problems.

I still believe there are more good than bad people out there, but it I think it's getting harder to tell
