They should be here this week sometime. I just measured the bearings the dealer sent. I'm gunna post the pictures and see what you all think.

Got my clevtite bearings from merchant! The rods will actually "float" when torqued down now! Measured them against the gm stock bearings. The gm bearings were .010" thicker. Measured these clevtite bearings at .015" clearance. So I'm hoping to have this thing running tomorrow!

Well it's running!
Was pouring coolant in and it came running out the block. Luckily it's just the block heater o ring lol hope to have it on the road this afternoon

Ya lol, my heart just dropped when coolant ran out. Because I was like I didn't even check that... Then I seen it ran out of heater element. The first couple attempts it wouldn't hit. Then it hit a little bit and they said it shot fuel thru the front radiator. Turns out I forgot to double check the passenger side fuel rail line lol. Got that tightened up. Then it started. Ran pretty rough because maf isn't hooked up or ic pipes. But I am from very mid mo. Jamestown, 30 min west of jeff city

Glad you got it figured out and running. I bet that surprised the crap out of you when the fuel shot out.
I've got an engine, transmission, and transfer case I bought that I'd LOVE to build for my pickup but I know money should be spent else where.

Well got everything all hooked up and it still runs like an ol Johnny popper John Deere. Idk I guess I got a couple injectors hanging open. Can't get my scan tool to connect to this truck. Weird

They were supposedly replaced recently. But that's what I get for trusting someone's word I guess

My obd plug wasn't working because blown cig lighter fuse. Got my labtop hooked up. All 8 injectors had no balance rates. So I'm guessing that means they are all hung open?

They will still have balance rates regardless what condition the injectors are in.

If the engine idles rough enough the balance rates wont show. Judging by the vid I'd say that's a bit rough. I'd recheck the valves as well.
