Little bit of progress made in the last 24 hours. Throw in a B-day party, sleeping and fixing another D-Max and it comes out to about 12 hours. FYI it screams!

Stock tank will be removed. I would have pulled it but two of the fittings I need to hook up the fuel cell had to be ordered.

Is this tank to save weight and also transfer the weight over the axle better? What turbo did you install or did you just put a new wheels on the one you had? Looks good btw.

Yes, better weight distribution and the dual sump feed of the cell should flow fuel better.

The billet wheel went in my 4094 turbo. Its been on the truck for almost 2 years. Its hard to tell how much it helped (by itself) since the manifolds and up pipes went on with it. I will say that spool up increased and the top end pulls a lot harder.

I like the way it looks squated down with the big tires on. Dropping it would kill the look. I still did a different gear ratio to help the top end and hopefully lose the 4-5 shift.

Thanks Brian.

Updated pic, lift pump mounted and tank is strapped in. This came out better than I had imagined. We'll see if I run into any problems routing the fuel lines. Also got the bed painted today.

You might be a redneck if your truck looks like this: No bed, no front bumper, no front diff, tail lights taped to rear bumper, stock fuel filler neck hangin out about 6" outside the cab and greasy hand prints all over the paint.

I bet that GT Mustang was like WTF when I blew his doors off today! Hahaha!

Well tonight was going great right up till we cracked the POS stock trans cooler. I had new lines made for the cooler and somewhere between pulling the old fittings out and installing the new fittings, the cooler cracked right below the driver side fitting.

We tried to repair it but that was an epic fail so I had to weld some fittings together and bypass the front cooler. I have a few spares at my dads so tomorrow I will be replacing it.

Fuel system is working great though. Filled the fuel cell up tonight with a whopping 14 gallons + 5 gallons we managed to get out of the stock tank. Replaced the stock fuel filter with a frame mounted BD filter and ran all new fuel lines to the motor.

Installed the DTS stainless down pipe and hot side IC tube tonight. Fit and finish was spot on and the welding on the DTS downpipe was 10x cleaner than on the Diamond Eye. Also where the flanges met the tubing was clean with no rough or high edges like on the Diamond eye.

Hopefully tomorrow I can get the water/meth tank mounted in the frame rails and re-route all the lines along with moving the solenoids over to the driver side of the engine bay.

Still have lots to do before Friday night. I love waiting till the last minute!....

Why did you take out the front diff Ben?

Its getting re geared. Waiting a seal that will be in tomorrow.

Did the manifolds/up-pipes and wheel make a noticeable difference?

Huge! The top end pulls a lot harder now and the charger lights almost instantly. I can pretty much steer with the rear tires leaving from a dead stop. The exhaust has a different sound but I will see how much it changes when I put the stacks back on.

Tops out at in 5th gear right before the traps. I lose time if I let it shift into 6th. Also I'm tired of cruising at 75mph @ 2200rpm in 6th.
