Ventilated 3516 came into the shop today, drained the oil (110 gallons) pulled the pan, pulled #13 rod out and here we have it..





Here's me and the bare block of one few years ago for comparison.




Compare to a dmax.

Chris they are 4 bolt rod caps, IIRC 15mm 12 points. Mains are 4 bolt and each main cap is around 50lbs.

Crank is like 1800lbs, and bare block is 4000lbs. fully dressed engine is north of 18,000lbs
