I've not seen one in person but from my testing I can believe it!!
Sorry to see your troubles Matt, that really sucks to see. Hopefully when you pull the S475 off its okay. If you need any parts let me know, I've got a few IHI's sitting around, haha:roflmao:. I've got intercoolers, boost tubes, and other as well.
What people do is install an air regulator between the IHI cover port and waste gate. You then adjust the air regulator such that on your highest tune your EGT's are the lowest and your back pressure isn't high. It takes some time but a good way to get your system dialed in. Did I explain it right James??
Read through this thread, theres some good info. Air regulator adjustment

The only issue is, you have not done any testing in a compound setup. the high pressure works differently. like when we talked and you told me about all the barking the charger would get with the batmowheel in place but i have experienced none of that, even my 800hp dyno pulls and chopping the throttle at the end at 60+ psi. all i got was a sneeze from the 480.
the regulator setup, i started that way. i actually found i need to just have the gate shut off like a pair of juice grips on the wastegate line . alot of that may have to do with Russ port and polish job though, before i had the gate opening at about 25psi overall boost and it kept things around 50psi overall boost. With the OPs boost valve and nothing else, hes probably driving the 475 more than he needs too but that should only be helping the stock charger. im driving the hell out of mine and its been just fine. Im pretty sure we didnt balance my modded stocker, did we Russ?
