Did one a while back . Just finished doing front bearings on kodiak . Thought Id take it for a quick test drive . Came back home and drove into driveway pretty fast . Didnt see my snap on creeper still laying in the driveway .
I ran it over just right to shoot it out like a missile and into the door of my wifes sienna .
Bamm !!! Oh Crap !!
Caved in the door good with some deep gouges . I just stood there and stared at it for about 10 minutes in awww !! You gotta be kidding me I said .
The wife wasnt to pleased either . She got even with me though . About 2 months ago she went to back out of the driveway and Bam !! took out the whole side of my 78 crew cab with her brand new four runner . That was more than disheartening . My truck ahhhhhh , the new toyota .... ahhhh !!
Her crying .... that was a real good one . By the way , her toy got fixed and my 78 is still all caved in . Back door and bed are toast . That hurt , my baby after all the years gets crashed in my own driveway .
Another you gotta be kidding me .... for Mr. DIY
The new motor build for the truck . I finished motor build and grabbed the motor mounts to bolt to block and said holy chit . Took a few looks to even believe it . No friggen way ....... no pads to mount the motor mounts to . LB7 block used for build is previous to the commercial mounts on block and front of block on LLY . No pads or ear mounts .
I wanted to shoot myself . I felt my heart skipping beats .....
I sat back on my creeper and was stunned . Mouth wide open .
You got to be kidding me ......
What a pain , but I overcame it with some thinking and alot of cutting sheet steal with sawzaw . Unibit madness . Grinding to no end . It was a real bitch . Just kept at it . And overcame the newest hurtle .
And then there was motor mounts . Nice !!

The mounts have held up well and passed the Glamis test Thanksgiving and some serious burn outs .
I doubled every plate up and cut all the pieces out and copied them . Then gussets in all corners . Thats what took me a whole day extra cutting and drilling and welding all the pieces a second time .
Came out sweet though . I was done for though after hanging upside down under motor on stand . My back was toast . Bad , couldnt stand with out drugs and a cane or crutches . Worst I have ever hurt the back .
It was ridiculous trying to install motor on crutches .
There was this old guy whinning like a baby .... ooow ... ahhh ... ouch .... cant remember his name .
I was the vicodin poster child . Finished it though . Runs good .
