40 hours a week right now cause im modernizing Elevators. Whenever i was in construction we would work 60-80 hours quite a bit, which was nice cause all of our overtime is double time. If work looks good im going to test out as a Mechanic in septemeber and try and get into service, so ill be on call quite a bit.

84 per week, 7 days a week, hitting 180 days in a row. Only a couple days off in the past 6 months.

Well I havent gotten more than 5 hours of sleep at night since last year. Between school, two other jobs, the farm, the gf and the truck I dont have much time.

Due to lack of time due to school Ill put in between 40-50hours a week between the farm and my regular job.

Last summer I ran a pea stripper combine for the local canning company where we ran LONG hours as all the peas have to be harvested in a one month window. We would have to show up at 5am every morning every day of the week rain or shine and wait on the supervisors decision. We averaged 100hrs a week and they paid overtime over 40hours and double time on sundays and holidays and we worked one holiday and 4 sundays. Plus a $1/hr bonus for good attendance. In the end its the most money Ive made in a one month and you didnt need much sleep to run one of thos so I could still fit in pulling.

I think I speak for a lot of people here, but if my truck payed me to work on it Id be rich.

When I started my business in ~1993 I worked 7 days a week, 365 days a year for the first year and a half before I took a day off. Sometimes the days were 20 hours each. It was what it took to start a business with no real capital.

As time went on and the business grew, I could cut back my hours. A lot. :D

But I must say, if the economy doesn't start to wake up again, I might have to go back to the crazy days schedule for a year or so.

usually just 40, unless a unit falls down or something at the plant, but then I work 5-6 hrs in the garage each evening after work, and at least 12 hours a day on the weekend.

while construction was still booming a year ago, i was averaging 73 hours a week. 40 a week is the norm for our company. If we dont find some work soon we'll all be down to 32 hours a week. All of us that are left anyway. Our big company is turning into a small family.

Was at 80, but aerospace has slowed a bit so now I'm consistent 50. Feels like a vacation

40 a week and not a minute more. When the construction industry hit a dead stop everyone stopped getting their equipment fixed. I used to at least work 50-60 but now it takes everything I have to look busy for 40.
