When I am at work I usually work around a 100hrs a week-on the average for 4 to 5 weeks straight. Sometimes more.

But when I am off I am off for a month or so at a time so it sort of evens out in the end. Sure wish I was paid by the hour!:(

Im sure they wish you would actually work for more than a hour:D:joker:

60-75 hours a week. Even if business is slow - just spend the time on marketing to get and keep the business flowin'.

35-40 spent doing the work and the rest is spent running the business. One man show is getting old.:D

prior to graduating college - 60 to 80 hrs per week and 15 semester credit hours for college. that was @ 7.00/hr with no benefits, bonuses, or gas(20 miles out of town).

now, 40 per week and a little more towards the end and beginning of the year with all kinds of benefits and more $$.

I know this is an old thread but I was thinking the other day how much I seem to be working(or at least ripping and running) I work 35-45 hours a weeks at my normal job. I can work as much as I want if there is stuff to do(there always is) I spend a couple hours a night planning loads. I hotshot cars a few weekends out of the month and haul for work a few more times a month. Im in KY my kids are in VA so between seeing them and hauling and service calls at work my life is a logistical nightmare. I dream of toll booths, tail lights, and road signs. I love it but monthly oil changes are getting old. I hate doing them and hate paying some to do them more.

Work's been pretty crazy lately, we're short handed so there is hours for anyone who wants them. I'm thinking I'm going to go crazy and get some truck money together. There are shifts that need to be covered or the plant gets shut down, and it took us about 7 days of pure hell trying to get it going the last time we shut down in -30 weather. Which was last week.

June-Nov. 90-98hrs/wk is the norm. On a good day, I only need to work 13hrs. It takes a beating on the family & All projects go on the back burner. The rest of the year it's Mon-thurs 40hrs./wk, with side jobs/projects friday-sun. Since the wife just finished school, and finally has a good paying job, Im trying to get to a point where I can be on my own. Im hoping I can make it happen before June:thumb:.
