Dodge...enough said. I take pride in having a damn near smoke free truck. I didnt buy it to be a douche, I got it as a work truck and DD . Its these kids who get em because they think itll make em cool that give us a bad name.

Thats just bad on so many levels.

Hey, how cool would it be if duramax diesels wrote/somehow submit a bill that makes "rolling coal" an enforceable crime. Basically make it easy to get busted on and a hefty fine....?

Edit: Disregard my sig while viewing this thread :/

already is here in AZ. excessive smoke has been a law for a long time now and you will get pulled over and ticketed for it. the unfortunate thing is the cop has to be there the same time your blowing smoke. calling it in isnt gunna do much.

I've got a smoke ticket at Scheid before 3 or 4 years ago. Any state I'm sure has a traffic violation excessive smoke can be filed under (improper start for example) but having our diesel site support or try and make a bill to lessen our rights would be a very bad idea IMO

I'm not going to be a hyprocrite but I remember when smoking was cool, how times have changed. :D

I use to on the occasion smoke out some people but I didn't go to the extreme and post videos on the internet . In addition some times I did it to retaliate against bad driving. Had the cops at my house once just for that.

For sure times have changed for the good seeing videos like that show the ridiculousness of excessive smoke.

Totally agree it is a retarded thing to do, and will get you a hefty ticket and notice to have it corrected by a certain date here in Oregon. But I've done it a time or two to some jerk who is try to jump me at a light by coming up on my right side and trys to beat me through the intersection when the light turns green. I turn up the dsp-5 switch and roll forward far enough so the exhaust is just about at his window hopefully he doesn't move) and do a little power braking. :D As far as using the big tunes, only race in TH and drive in normal mode, race truck doesn't haul anything anyway. Daily driver seldom gets out of tune 1 but will smoke if you turn it up and power brake. ;)

I agree with Mackin

A good public/social media shaming of people that go around smoking out people out might be a good thing. Everyone stop and think do we need anymore laws...and how many "pointless" laws do you break every day?

Ok so I have to admit about 4or 5yrs ago I got my first lb7 was 20ish boss's old truck had cheap diablo tuner and muffer delete. Thought its was awesome to smoke out a stop light the car I was passing you get the picture. But then the more I got into the diesel world the more I realized what a jack azz I had been being. Smoke has its place sure who didn't like watching a truck pull but on the street is a different story

Kids are Idiots. That is defiantly a High School parking lot that they are pulling out of. It's either daddy's truck, or they are a spoiled brat that is going to have a sense of entitlement for the rest of their lives because they have been handed everything. Work is a cuss word now. Didn't you know that?

The fact that they are blowing smoke at the elderly (3:47 a guy with a cane), really pisses me off. Just a truck load of Richard Craniums.
