how do you bend a gt55 shaft?

Mine was a used 91.5mm from a former drag truck....

All they have to do is blame it on compressor surge, oil starvation, oil contamination.... Hell they even said because a v-band was tig welded to the cover that it could have caused distortion and contributed to the problem.

ALSO, I got the "no warranty for competition use" line on the GTX45R that the wheel hit the cover...but the pin wasn't bent and the ball-bearings were tight afterwards......

Didnt see you beat me to it, but yes, i got all of those reasons also. Fact is, they dont stand behind their turbos. They have issues with the GTXs and they know it. They refuse to admit it publicly or do anything about it. I had a pretty good talk with them on their facebook, they asked me not to talk about it on a public forum.:spit:

My lil GT2860 on my snowmobile ate the bearings after one year at 17psi I thought for sure Gerrett would stand behind it, but they wouldn't, I got the same BS excuses
