I can let the keys all the way down that's what I usually do for the pulls. My thought was to turn down the keys 3/4 of the way then put my stops in up front then pull the bolts completely out and have it sitting on the stops with the motor weight holding it down. Maybe I'm over thinking it but I am just nervous to hop again don't wanna break.

If you have stops up front to keep the front end up, you have to make sure that it will lift off the blocks once the truck is going under full power. Evan and I just had a talk about this earlier this week on how i set it up. I am late getting here and didnt read all 5 pages but you need to let the airbags completely out and ditch the keys, talk with Evan about working on the front end to help it out he can give you some ideas iv sent him pics and he made something up last week. I also dont recommend a 3rd gear start for a stock turbo truck. a 2-3 will be fine. We do a 3rd gear only tune with a 75 single to help in spooling it. Hope this is helpful a little.

The stops are good for the stock keys so it doesn't raise the weight off the front. But the problem is with the leveling keys evendors turned down they still have quite a bit of tension on the torsion bars to help it lift the front. So even with them cranked down and then you ado the stops I think your problem is gonna get worse. Add stock keys and the stops and you'll have a good combination. As for the air in the rear, running bump stops no air is needed..now if you can't run stops air them up to prevent the rear from squatting..

Well it hopped again last night but definitely not as bad. Ended up getting out of it half way down track then back into it but still mananged to pull off a win against about 15 other trucks. Found some stock keys I'm gonna throw in this week hopefully then over the winter I'm gonna make up some long bars and buy some STS's for it. What size rim and tires should I be running. I was gonna try to run 18's with a 33" but I know A lot of guys run a 35" if I'm not mistaken.

I've run air bags for a few years now anywhere from flat to 100psi no bounce, I suggest getting your front lower maybe do like the fords and strap it so its lower and won't lift. One of my friends left his bolts in to level out his axles at a off pull and he found out it hopped like a rabbit down the track, so now he went back to pulling th . Bolts out completely. As far as air pressures what you were first running sounds like you were in the right ball park for our tracks.

Thanks Derek have seen your truck pull a few times and it's nasty. My dad had a set of his old keys off his 07 gmc 2500hd I'm gonna throw in next week for the pulls at McCrays and I am hoping that helps out.

IMO
Stock keys lowered all the way
Put real traction bars on the rear
I used to run 100psi in air bags with stops (no issues)
Make sure ur hitch doesn't stick a foot out past ur bumper
Try more air in rear tires
Straight center link or Tony's brace or run both
Weld front end or locker if u can find one
And a 3rd gear start

Thanks lawnboy01, putting in stock keys this week and already have 3rd gear start and hitch tight again my roll pan. I am gonna do long bars and a locker over winter if money is there. I was thinking about an air locker but don't really want the compressor on board and not sure about e locker.

Unfortunately the E-Locker is off the market right now.
