I'm having trouble locating a big enough hole saw to put my stack in. I want to do a 6" stack and have all the clamps etc underneath the bed so I was looking for a 6.5" hole saw. Where are you guys getting yours from? Or how are you cutting your bed?

Mine was reduced down to 5" and I just made a 5" hole. Just buy a 6" and then file around the outside a little bit and that will be fine. I did cut my 7" hole in my hood with a jig saw, that was fun.

Hahahaha I hope I'm not cutting my hood soon lol. Maybe I'll just use a jig saw and make or get a beauty ring like that you used on your hood stack?

ill look for the company that made the one I used. I used a 6" saw, and used a 5" reducer which brought my stack tip up to the top of the cab, that way the stack wouldnt be sitting up against the bed and possibly causing vibrations/bad harmonics. to mount it, I made a ring that I welded around the base and bolts to the bed floor for a clean look.

Your running 6" exhaust through your bed? I have a 5" holesaw you can use if your running 4" through the bed.

FYI, if your bed is line-x'd, I found it impossible to use a hole saw. I had to drill a starter hole and use a sawzall to cut the hole.........what a bitch that was.

Milwaukee makes 6" hole saws but we cut ours out with a 4 1/2" angle grinder and it looks good. We also cut a trim ring out of a sheet of aluminum the same way and polished it up.:D

I used a hole saw (Through my Line-X) with out issue and it came out very clean IMO.. I bought a complete set from Lowes but I think they only go to 5" IIRC... The nice thing about using a hole saw is you can easily Mig the cut back in if you have a change of heart at some point and dont want to leave a ugly hole in your bed ;) Heres a pic of mine,, You are welcome to borrow one of my hole saw bit's if I have one big enough?
