High PPE Lift Pump Pressure?

I installed a PPE lift pump with a PPE pickup as part of my turbo upgrade. When I logged the fuel pressure, I noticed something I think is kind of strange.

The pressure goes from about 12 psi at idle to over 32 psi when I get into the throttle. Has anyone noticed this when using a lift pump?

I would think that the pressure would drop instead of increase when more fuel is demanded by the tune.

FWIW, I was a little stupid when I installed the transmitter and put it between the FICM and the filter...DOH, cut the wrong hose! I need to change the location to after the filter, but it seems to work now, and I was in a hurry to get the truck on the road.

Not sure how your getting 32psi max is around 18 at most with that pump. Also not good for your ficm blow the seals out.

I know...it seems weird, but that is what is showing on the log....I am pretty sure that the transmitter is configured correctly in EFILive, because I get the same readings on the gauge as I do on the log at idle. I am not paying attention to the gauge when I am driving the truck, but I am concerned about the FICM.

Fuel Pressure is the second green line on the right hand side.

Something weird is going on. When I use my Aeroforce gauge, it does what I expect, the pump output pressure drops to about 8 or 9 psi.

I can not log the transmitter and look at the gauge at the same time, because both the AeroForce and EFILive use the ODB II port.

I went back and looked at the transmitter voltage and EFILive is calculating the pressure correctly based on the voltage.

I am using the same transmitters for drive pressure, boost, and the CP3 inlet pressure. The drive and boost pressures are working correctly. I can compare the stock boost and the new boost transmitter with EFILive and they are spot on +/- 0.2 psi (instrument error). All of the transmitters use the same calculation for the PID. All the transmitters are using the same 5.0 V source.

I was thinking of logging the battery voltage versus the transmitter output voltage. Maybe I am getting something going on there.....

What method did you use to get lift pump pressure to display in EFILive?

I have a transmitter on the fuel line, and I used an A/D input. I have 2 other identical transmitters and they seem to be working just fine.

I may need to talk to AeroForce and see if there is something going on with their transmitters. I did spit the signal coming from the transmitter, one wire to the gauge, and one wire to EFILive. The gauges and EFILive are not on at the same time.
