I installed a PPE lift pump with a PPE pickup as part of my turbo upgrade. When I logged the fuel pressure, I noticed something I think is kind of strange.
The pressure goes from about 12 psi at idle to over 32 psi when I get into the throttle. Has anyone noticed this when using a lift pump?
I would think that the pressure would drop instead of increase when more fuel is demanded by the tune.
FWIW, I was a little stupid when I installed the transmitter and put it between the FICM and the filter...DOH, cut the wrong hose! I need to change the location to after the filter, but it seems to work now, and I was in a hurry to get the truck on the road.
