Yes its here i fought this truck for well over a year.... would throw underboost codes no matter how it was scaled in boost/vain/fueling ect ect kory looked at bumped my error times up a little more then no more codes....well i forgot to up his speed limiter so changed that did a cal flash now limps out only on the big tune (dsp5) so im going to try a full flash see if that changes anything

Also zero codes were as before it would throw a underboost code....

Wow. Don't think he should be doing much work on his own.

I know i was like wtf weres the gaskets.... "i used right stuff" so I
have to go back to nd so hes bringing it back when i get back and ill fix couple more leaks... then ill see if the truck codes still.

Im not saying anything bad bout my customer here just floored that things were that way and i know he blames tuning in the back of his mind..

i know standard proceedure on 60 series detroits is to use the copper gasket stuff and not actual gaskets

I should not say anything, but I feel I need to.

I just spent four hours in a built motor LMM, 4094VVT/Danville Modified charger with a S475 on top of it, it is a new build, local to me in CT.

It spools unreal, it did not code for any underboost or throw any "reduced engine power", in fact I tried everything I could to get it to code, it would not.

I am not knocking Fleece or Garrett or am I saying that Danville is the greatest, that is not my intention of this post.

This post is to simply share information, the only difference with the other trucks IMHO was the modified 4094vvt charger from Danville, it works and works very well.

Everyone is free to make their own determination from this information, but I can share the stock OS with anyone who wants it, it is the latest TIS OS for a 2009/LMM and was just downloaded on Friday from TIS.

SoCal Diesel can provide the build info to me if I request it, it does have 60% injectors and is a Stage 1 motor with up-pipes and manifolds.

Ross has been notified by email of my findings, I do agree with Jeremy, the amount of time spent for free logging, changing, re-tuning was significant, and I question that it is not EFI-LIVE software but hard part related at this time.

I would like to see another truck with a standard 4094VVT get swapped with a Modded one without twins to see if that truly is the Fix, perhaps Rob will do this as he has an LMM and is already started the process. I for one do not have a truck or the time to do this to.

;)

Tony this is my best friend's truck you're referring to. Truck runs amazing! Since he and I put the motor in it's probably only been on the road for 2 weeks, but we went for a ride in it tonight (after having the transmission rebuilt AGAIN) and it hauls ass! Nice work

Interesting read... I want to see pictures of this beast. MPLV, you the same guy on DP that had the blue gmc with 24's, then the silver gmc with matching hoss's?

yeah man, the truck has been melting tires for about the last 2 months with the stock charger on it. Tonys tune moves out and EGTs stay under 1150 as long as your under 110mph.

I just logged in to list some extra parts and the cheeta for sale/hope someone found a fix.

Aside from what i think is my water pump going bad and the truck coming home with no bolts holding the fender liners in (trey are they still in the mail?) it hasnt missed a beat or lost a street race.

and now that its about right ive decided im sick of daily driving it.
