Did you try turning the key off, unhooking them for a few minutes then hooking them back up? I did that with an old Ranger one time and luckily that fixed it

Check the voltage on the batteries? they might be just low enough to crank it but still not start?

is it a normal crank sound or has it slowed down a little?

Im guessing you had them unhooked to install your dsp5? If so, are you sure this problem is becuase of the battery/key being left on? Make sure that you have the ecm connectors fully seated, and that no pins got pushed back and are no longer making contact.

Yes i was installing the dsp5. I just pulled the ecm and checked the board for burnt river/resistors and its all good. No pushed pins either. Fixin to go reinstall ecm and make double sure the connectors are fully seated. Is there a chance i blew the ficm?

If the VATS is enabled the truck will have the car with a lock symbol light on in your dash while cranking.

I fixed a LLY that would not start due to a crank posistion sensor too, that could be it.

How about the big fuses, can't remember what size they are, like a 150 and a 175 main fuse? like the ones that are on the pass side firewall on an lmm. Not sure where they are on an 02 though. Someone should know what I'm talking about.
