I dont think any "past money transactions" is going to make or break this... so IMO their not needed... past transactions doesnt really pay for new heads... Good move to talk to the machine shop Andrew :thumb:
As i've stated previously, i never said i wouldn't help. I'm more than willing to work with him. However, i most certainly will have every little detail before i make a logical decision. I know right from wrong, and if i thought or knew that there was something wrong then i would have never sold them to him. Like i said above "i will do my part to get in contact with the machine shop and show them everything that has been brought fourth to see what they have to say"
you are correct this has nothing to do with suncoast and there products... it has to do with the principle of the matter at hand and the character aspects being reflected on this.... what you sold me was not up to what you were advertising.. your sale stated that they were ready to be used... i luckily had enough sense to have them checked out before i put them on my motor... im glad i did or your port and polished complete heads very well could have destroyed a 10 thousand dollar investment just because your shop did shady work and you reciprocated it to me. you sold ready to use heads.. they arent... either pay to make them usable or ill send them back and you can refund me in full.. and then take them back to your shop and have them explain it... this isnt my problem.. its yours.. you sold me a faulty product...
Your biggest mistake here is implying that i KNEW there was something wrong and sold them to you to somehow **** you out of some money or pawn a product off on you.
It's not about the money and i certainly didn't try to pull the wool over your eyes. I gave you all information you requested, documentation, phone numbers (before sale) You're placing blame in all the wrong places, you initially said you didn't blame me, certainly sounds to me that you are pointing the finger at me painting me to be the bad guy. Mainly because you didn't hear the exact answer wanted right off the bat.
Sometimes things like this happen, i'm sorry, i truly am. i believe that i did everything on my part to try to prevent this, and i'm sure you believe you did all the proper research to do so as well. I've offered to help you out. I most certainly did not know anything was wrong which is why i shot you an initial offer of paying half. I will do my part in calling the shop to find out information and make a logical decision that works for both of us in the end.

If I sold something that a shop told me was good to go I would get to the bottom of it before I refunded for it. Give him time to talk to the shops and see what they have to see-sounds like he had no clue that he was selling something that wasn't 100% ready to go. He took the word of a machine shop. Don't hate on him for wanting to get to the bottom of it. Now at the end of the day it is kind of on him to make it right, but he damn sure deserves a chance to figure out what is going on since a shop told him that. Maybe the keyboard ninjas should take a break until time has been given to talk to the shops.
if Andrew is being honest (and I think he is) sounds like you guys need to be mad at the machine shop-not each other. If this is a shop that does a lot of work they are going to care if their name is about to be drug though the mud, either way I think you guys need to get someone that knows what they are looking at that you trust, and talk to the shop that said they were good to go. Maybe they over looked something. I would be pissed if I bought a set of heads that were ready to bolt on that ended up needing work. I would also be pissed if a shop told me something was good to go and it wasn't.
At least get refunded whatever the shop charged you to check them out and use that to make it right
