I'm not saying it doesn't work for some people. It's a gamble some are willing to take. It's almost as good as reusing headgaskets. It would probably work in a couple trucks, but are you willing to try it unless its the last possible resort?

You're right Tim. Its a huge gamble. Think about what if it fails. How much does it cost me now?

I changed out reg arp's to 625's 1 by 1 and I got 3 years out of motor. I didn't realize it was a gamble.

I know many people that have done it one by one with good luck. Did it on my old 7.3 with good luck. I have seen people also do new gaskets and still fail. I think prep and install is key.
