Hey kathy, head gaskets and stud information at the same time, you must be thinking of us :) We will do this eventually, it looks like the head gaskets might not be bad, because the leaking has stopped.

ASSuming I wanted to lower the compression by just changing gaskets, how much volume would I gain (how much could I lower the CR) by installing the 0.030 over and 0.010 thicker than C?

You dont want a 30 over gasket in there with stock bore . That leave space for combustion pressure in a very tight (the gap between head and deck) area and will cause some hot spots around the cylinder.
