ASSuming I wanted to lower the compression by just changing gaskets, how much volume would I gain (how much could I lower the CR) by installing the 0.030 over and 0.010 thicker than C?

You dont want a 30 over gasket in there with stock bore . That leave space for combustion pressure in a very tight (the gap between head and deck) area and will cause some hot spots around the cylinder.

I tried the P/Ns for type c, are you sure they are the right ones, they didn't work for me.

If they were 37, 59, 90* and they are now 37, 59, 60*, 60* .... It looks to me like they upped the torque spec unless you meant 37, 59, 90*, 90*

90 is higher than 60*

IIRC, they were 37 59 90 90

correct that is what they were roughly ~120ftlb

37 59 60* 60* ~ roughly 100-105lbft

iirc had a debat about that on DP when i did my head gaskets in nov 07
