Not to go off topic here......but if your not supposed to use the full TG in a 5 speed, what are you supposed to do? I have this same setup in my LB7 (raybestos standard clutches, full TG, ratiotek springs) & it seems to shift ok....not as crisp as my LBZ though....
What year truck? The full transgo is nothing but trouble.
I remember you an Joes conversations about this on the place back in the old days. It was school time for all of us on the forum back then when y'all would openly discuss it.
Is transgo kit for 5 speed allison not to recomend?
The C2 piston mod in the full Transgo is trouble in most cases. If you choose to eliminate this mod, other mods need to be done to compensate and protect the clutches. If you know what you're doing, the 5 speed will hold huge power and live.
You can use everything except the c2 piston mods.I have a full transgo kit in my work Shop for my 03. I'm going too build the trans in the future..
Is it any ting in that kit i should use? And yes, i'm going too build it my self, i live in norway and ship the trans to USA and back will bee too expensive.

Well look who the cat dragged in :cool2:
You cant do anything about someone like that except try to teach them. If it takes, good. If not, so be it. You tried.
I follow the new owner on Snapchat and he has been doing burnouts and dirt dragging regularly with it. He's currently down at ocean city cruise week absolutely thrashing it and so far so good!Just for the record this transmission started shifting pretty good once it was done learning, the dude sold the truck so I doubt I'll ever find out how it holds up....
