Sorry to hear that Kyle,to bad you atleast didnt have the block at the machine shop and the lower end built already.I asume it will be back next year nastier then ever tho.Ill be looking for your motor build thread and subing it.
That's the most absurd call I have gotten in a while... That's just crazy man... No load sitting in neutral! That is nuts, you would think it could of come apart at least doing something cool??? Sucks man, time for more upgrades I guess!
Sorry to see this Kyle, beautiful truck for sure! Mine was the same way, passed compression test with flying colors but had haze at idle cold start up but ran great! At Schied's my covertor broke and shook a main bearing out of it. When I took it apart I found the rods where not as long as they were supposted to be. Apparently 1400ftlbs of torque was to much, lol! I just have to find the time to put it back together but that is not working for me either. My shop guys are giving me hell over it, they don't think I'll have it back together for TS.
sorry to hear man i think ill cry the day i hear that noise, but be thankful you werent heading down the track spraying oil all over the rear tires totalling the truck out man. Sounds like she led one hell of a life though man
Sorry about your luck bro! At least it didn't happen a couple hundred miles from home! Keep us posted on your build plans. You had a very impressive stock engine, you pushed her pretty good!!
