That slide collar and is a joke, some hold up forever and some don't last two times in four wheel drive, I gutted my actuator and made my front end full time but it steered like shit with the straight center link and puked oil out of the overflow on the interstate after 40-50 miles, guess it got too hot. I doubt any slide collar is gonna hold up very long dumping the clutch at 4500 lol.

Guy on facebook sells a shaft that deletes everything from the stub out to the cv, but I don't drive mine on the street lol

The #s you posted are the same part, go with the aam #40057073 to save some money

Yeah they are the same, but I found a thread on here from 2 years ago where the one number worked for sure and a guy had ordered it and installed it so I figured safer to just use that number lol

Got the new solid passenger side axle in. Road test was fun like always but was gonna do a launch from a stop and a damn pt cruiser snuck up behind me so just did a run from a gentle roll she ripped and 4x4 is working like a champ again.so tomorrow will be the first 4x4 launch on slicks with the new front axle so we will see if we find the next weak link or if she will move off the line. Billet wheel won't get done for this round but will be for the next race. Have one more after this in October and one in november.
