Ok I didnt read al because there was some drama I started reading...

Anyway.

To just swap the bumpers, short answer no. Long answer, you have to adjust the mounts on the GMC bumper to get it to even bolt up.

now, once you do that it will look like ass. (trust me Jordan, you will want to fully convert it after you get the bumper to fit, lol) there will be a huge gap at the top of bumper. to do this right you need:
bumper
fenders
hood
grill
headlights
(yes the whole clip)
Also I want to say we used the radiator support from the GMC too.

Reno, my buddy started this project with the same intent, just the bumper, a few hours later we were back at the junk yard picking up the rest of the front end.

I have a few pics but there not digital....
seen friends do the same thing.

if it is possible to some how make it work without doing it all, id love to see it

I just want to do the bumoer too. I don't like the GMC frint end except the bumper looks way better than the huge ugly ass peice of plastic on top of the chevy bumpers. Lets see it when you get her on Jordan

Let's see some pic's with the grill in. It looks like if you took about an inch out of the center of the bumber, it would follow the angle of the lights pretty good. Working in the rain??? Pass side fog light looks like a perfect place for a CAI.

Dman I think it will work just fine. So the Chevy brackets work? A small filler panel below the grill and you will be good to go I beleive how long tell we can see it with the grill?

post some corner shots. Thats what we didnt like when we did it. The bumper we put on seemed too wide for the fenders and didnt suck up to them very well...
