For some people getting married early is good... I'm 24 and have no intentions of getting married anytime soon. Obvious you want to marry her because you asked her so relax, have a few beers, hang out with your buddies cause it will make you feel better and yes make sure you are drunk/hungover on your wedding day. Get ready for "BRIDEZILLA!", that's my advice. My wife is a very loving and normally an easy woman to get along with, BUT on our wedding day she was as bad as them bridezilla shows and then some.
I'm 33..been married since 200....5? I think...so what is that 6 years. We have a wonderful 2 year old daughter. I was with her a long time before we got married so it didn't change much of anything. The dynamics of the relationship were already set. I couldn't be happier.
The biggest key is not changing yourself to please your wife. You are who you are and it's not going to change. If you try you will resent her for it or eventually get tired of pretending and the real you comes out.
My wife an I are both very strong personalities and we know that the other doesn't take any crap. Kind of a cold war peace thing going on. MAD Mutually assured destruction.
Marriage is the best if you can make it work. I dunno maybe I'm just the luckiest guy around but I wouldn't change it for anything.

. If you know in your heart thats who you want to be with and feel pertty confident she feels the same way, there is no reason to be nervous. Ill be askin the question here in the next 6 months and ill be 25 in Nov. Im not worried at all as ive been with my girl for over 4 years now and live together. Marriage has already been brought up quite a few times, i was just waitin till i built my motor and the truck was done :woott:

Well we've been togeather for 7 years and bought a house 2 yrs ago so it feels like we r married anyway. My party was lastweeknd drove down to boston for a sox game then hit the bars. It was a lot of drinkin and a long long day but it was a blast to be out with my buddies and act like fools without the ladies yellin at us haha.
best of luck to ya bud, i got married at 23, dated from my junior year in college lived together the month after we got together, it was great. dont worry about the wedding man as long as you dont make a big deal of it, i was nervous right before a shot of jack and a few smokes i was calm enough to stand up atleast.
then the ceremony is now a blur and the party afterwards flew by, you will spend so much time worrying about what could go wrong and you will never notice the things you are fretting over. just enjoy it and relax.
