These blocks regular bold upwards of 3500 to 4000 hp and 2500 lbs. of torque in the pro mod world. The copy of the stock block has or hasn’t depending on who is talking has problems. CN Blocks uses a higher quality forged billet.
I guess now that the rules in the diesel sanction body’s is any diesel engine , not just an engine that came in a one ton and down are in place has changes , I’m skipping the Dmax headed block, and moving on to a 500+ inch 600 CFM headed engine program.
As to testing , come on , a billet block as opposed to a stock block.

reference to dyno queens in general . 'Chassis Dynoing your truck is like measuring your dick with a rubber band, you can make it say anything you want."

I wasnt referring to chassis dynoing at all. Just real world results. And no, billet blocks have not proven themselves in the diesel world...sorry.

Sorry, that got on when I cut and pasted
The current Billet Dmax block was a poor deal at best; it was an attempt to copy a production, there is no need to test when the number one billet block manufacturer builds one that is designed for big power. This block is for high end drag racing. I’m not looking for extreme power number, but a drag race engine platform that will make 1500 hp at 15 to 20 psi of boost. The fact that it will weigh 200 lbs less is a huge plus as well.
The stock Dmax head bolt pattern block will allow huge intake valves; The Big Block Dmax will allow billet heads with double the flow of a Dmax ported head.
With 1500 hp and the weight of a dragster like mine 6.40’s and 6.50s is not a problem with a Dmax headed aluminum block

I have no doubt that a lot of time and money has been spent by yourself and others like Wade and Mike etc, and you probably don't feel like giving away your ideas for free. I get that. But as I understand it, trying to adapt big block gasser parts to the duramax is not even new...like 5 yrs old I believe. The r&d cost has never been recouped in terms of power or reliability. What is the reason for the new campaign?

Not sure of anyone that has done an adapting of BBC parts to a Duramax before this year.
What you need to understand, is this is not an adapting, but a new bloc design when you do all of the work in cyber space on the computer. The production head block has Dmax bore spacing, with Chevy front and rears, using the stronger Chevy 60 mm Chevy cam and belt drive or gear drive design.

The kido had zero to do with any of the blocks out there except buying one.
This was simple to do. Call Chuck at CN and tell him what you want. And let him do what he does best; build the best billet block in the racing world.

As to the billet head, that is really simple as well. I’ve been around this type of racing and mind set for the last 25 years. I went to GM foundries in Toluca Mexico 15 years ago and had a solid inline 6 head cast for a E/ED competition eliminator car. This head has no water jacket or ports, and weighed 265 after it was done, the head had machined water jackets and ports that flowed 425 cfm and weighed 78 lbs.

notice the covers under the ports , that was were Al Weiss put the water jacket.

he did this by hand on a mill and hand grinder, the head was solid.

getting closer , we plan on public debut at Thunder in Muncie . It's taken a while , I have had other racing commitments on a NHRA Pro Stock team , and a pair of LSR cars , one is making a attempt at the first 400 mph run on gasoline

Very nice! :thumb:

But that's the world's most optimistic tachometer in the world ... :D

that is because I built the car for one of these , when I want to run comp .
there are 500 inch Dodge Pro Stock Motors , the turd of the bunch is 20 hp down and scrap , it still makes 1487 hp on fuel only as some put it . I want to run B/Dragster Automatic ,
