If you reused the spacer that was already in there I doubt that's your problem if you didn't a overheating before.
You found someone who could actually flush the coolers out, and now it's more than a small stream coming out of the return line?

Even if I grounded on the valve?

Why in the hell would you grind an aftermarket valve when you have no idea what you are doing? You have no idea how any of this stuff works yet you decide to grind.
Yes but still same stream.
Disconnect the "To Cooler" line and see if it's the same small stream. You may want to disconnect it at the cooler and try to run it into a bucket or something so it doesn't spray all over under your truck. Maybe make a video of how small the stream is so we can see.
This is the stream I'm getting straight from the trans line at idle . View attachment 38721
This is why i just pay the extra money and being it somewhere .. i wouldn't be able to deal with these headaches .... specially if u end up smoking new parts from over heating.
Broken cooler line will empty Allison to limp mode in under a quarter mile, lol... Had a 6 speed customer separate one at the crimp, you could see from the time it "blew" to where the trail stopped and truck was parked, lol! Not nearly enough flow there...
I believe I did something to it when I put the pump and everything back on.
You should not be working on these things.
Did you leave a rag in it somewhere?
If he left a rag somewhere it was for a reason. He knows what he's doing.
