The good news is that I drove Freighttrain home from the track tonight.

I wanted to see how it would run before MA so Off I went to TNT. The only tires I had that were some old Cooper 285 discovery A/T's That had not been on anything in over two years. They were so hard that you could cut diamonds with them. I was running a real conservative tune that Craig sent me with lot of defueling below 2,500 and limited timing. I dodn't expect much out of it. This was the break it in easy tune. The motor had 170 miles on it.

Ok here's what happened first pass.

Truck defueled on the 3-4 shift (bad) and almost fell off the charger. It did pick back up on the 5 gear shift.

R/T .179
60' 1.68 (Coopers were beter than I thought)
330 - 4,841
1/8 - 7.498- @92.38
1000' - 9.797
1/4 - 11.744
MPH 115.44

The rest of the runs were 11.75, 11.79, 11.75

It ran 116.08 twice and 116.09 once

I think I've got a bracket racer here

Thanks to everyone especially Sean8816 for the help.

Video to follow.........

Boy that little car behind you on the way home seemed pissed. Randi & I were Laughing our butts off when "the cloud" came rolling back. The VW didn't seem to thrilled. The truck behind us slammed on their brakes. Man that thing rolls some smoke :D

Congrats!!!:driving:

Getting close to rollbar territory!

:cool2:
Actually, thats something I forgot to mention. After my first pass, the ET shack guy told me to go to the tower, Now!. So I'm thinking who did I piss off this time?. Anyhow, I was greated by the tech inspector at the tower and he said with a grin, Let's have a "look see" at your truck, He proceeded to tell me how to build my roll bar for my next visit and also to pick up a 4 point harness and a fire jacket. I was smiling also, because I was about to be kicked out of the track for going to fast in my stinkey old worn out truck.
Bottom line they let me finish out the night, which was nice. 11.99 or faster for TNT. Competition is 11.49
