The good news is that I drove Freighttrain home from the track tonight.
I wanted to see how it would run before MA so Off I went to TNT. The only tires I had that were some old Cooper 285 discovery A/T's That had not been on anything in over two years. They were so hard that you could cut diamonds with them. I was running a real conservative tune that Craig sent me with lot of defueling below 2,500 and limited timing. I dodn't expect much out of it. This was the break it in easy tune. The motor had 170 miles on it.
Ok here's what happened first pass.
Truck defueled on the 3-4 shift (bad) and almost fell off the charger. It did pick back up on the 5 gear shift.
R/T .179
60' 1.68 (Coopers were beter than I thought)
330 - 4,841
1/8 - 7.498- @92.38
1000' - 9.797
1/4 - 11.744
MPH 115.44
The rest of the runs were 11.75, 11.79, 11.75
It ran 116.08 twice and 116.09 once
I think I've got a bracket racer here
Thanks to everyone especially Sean8816 for the help.
