I run the van housing and gm hose. I reused the PPE belt but swapped back to my original idler pulleys and rerouted the belt. On a lb7 the van hose won't clear the tcm. I had a new tcm mount fabbed up and everything works great.

I think it does but you need the Tstat housing as well. The bolt pattern is different

Right. That's why I was wondering about the crossover. Since the lml housing is a little taller, I figured that would help with clearance of the hose.

Figured I’d add to this thread. I just went blinding into the process. Bought a Van thermostat housing and an LML upper radiator hose and adapted as I went along, I have the turbo coolant hose fitting plugged, and the Lml hose was about 4” too short so I got a piece of 2” exhaust tubing and spliced it in the straightest spot on the hose. Then for the tcm I took the cover off and drilled 3 1/4” holes and bolted right to the upper fan shroud.

I did have to trim the top of the fan shroud for the hose to clear and not be resting or rubbing. Can get a better picture of how I trimmed if anyone is interested. But I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. Glad I got the LML hose because the van hose did not have the protective sheath.

Also forgot to add, for the oil fill tube I had a PPE fill tube from an old dual fueler kit and that’s what I used to clear the van housing.

Oil fill tube from an lb7 fits fine with a very slight ding to the side from a hammer

The van hose might not have that fancy sheath but it fits way better especially the gates van hose, trimmed about an inch off the rad end and it's absolutely perfect
