The Still Master
I spend some time on FB........I spend most of my time just trying to keep up with my dealer/reseller orders.
Customers have come from FB, for sure it a good avenue for business, but I agree with Levi, every post seems to be about leveling kits, Halo Lamps, Forces, Light Bars, etc.
When I pull up next to some ass-dragging Duramax with Forces and a Light Bar and hand them their ass because they are all "SHOW" and no "GO"..........its funny.
I own the Grandpa truck, 100% stock appearing Denali LML with factory 20's, even the grandpa running boards, but its got enough power and a full built trans to beat most anything on the street especially a 4 wheel drive boosted launch.........
So although I embrace social media it is for the most part a nut-swinging, sales fest with "ALL" companies having to deal with "who is the best tuner" posts and why.
I will say that its funny to see a post/question then see the same few people rush in and post "PM ON THE WAY !!!"
But its the way the world is now !!!
I still don't mind what goes on, my results speak for themselves where it matters most time, at events and at the track, so although I can see what a valuable tool ( social media ) is for companies its not the only thing that makes sales, but for some its made them very well known and well off !!!
My hats off to those who embraced it and dominate it..........it also goes a long way to putting you in crosshairs........the more well known you are the bigger target you become !!!
