Never said you had to go buy a MikeL cooler, or any other cooler for that matter. Never said you were trying to sell anything, either. Im not even "backing" Mike, like you accuse some other forum members of. Its just common sense. It was troubling that you chose to completely ignore Mike's advice, though. When I read Mike's post, and realized the pressures going thru the cooler lines, most sane people would realize that regular hose and clamps just isnt up to snuff. IMO, a person should stick with hard line connections meant for those pressures. Push-locs would work, too...but you still have to change the fittings to get them to work as advertised, too. How many DIYers have access to the welding expertise it would take to switch them over? Not many.
Anyway, please cut the drama. Its not "all about you". Bringing new ideas to the forum is a good thing, but some of those ideas just dont pan out, its just one of those things. If the cooler had hard line fittings, or even push-locs, then it would be a decent alternative to our stock setup.
Would you really want to have someone take your advice, install a cooler like this, then dump all their trans fluid out on the track when one of those lines blow off?
Would you take responsibility for that?
me cut the drama, i dont see why you even posted in my thread to start with. if you didnt llike the idea, good for you. you should have just kept it to yourself. ignoring mikes advice... yeah your right, seeing as how hes never been right with any of my trans issues, i dont really give a shit what he says.
dont you need to go figure out how to make that stock turbo truck fast instead of worrying about me?:thumb:
