Well, Chevy had it's first real issue after buying it in December. Got the phone call from my wife at lunch that truck wouldn't move, SES light was on and it would barely accelerate and revved real high (limp mode). Walked her through the steps of reading/clearing codes on the Edge CTS monitor, which cleared it and she was able to drive some more. Two blocks down the road it did it again. She continued clearing codes trying to make it home, but it started doing it instantly. She had to park the truck and call a cab to get her home, since I'm 45 miles away at work.

Edge said it was a P0700 code, which meant a TCM issue, most likely a code within the TCM the Edge can't read. So I took the shops Snap-On scanner home with me, TCM had a P1713 code. Which is a pressure switch issue, which after some research lead me to the neutral safety switch. I was able to clear the TCM code and drive it home, it would limp every time I came to a stop, so I just had to keep clearing it as I drove. Got the NSBU switch from Allison, going in it this afternoon.

Still haven't found time/ambition to do the lift pump and Cal-Tracs

NSBU did not solve the issues it was having. Checked all the wiring, pigtails, pins, etc... everything appeared fine. Ended up dropping the pan and replacing the Pressure Switch Manifold on the valve body. Put the pan back on, put the fluid back in it and went and drove it. Appears to have fixed the problem, it's working correctly now, no more SES and limp mode.

Spent the day getting my Cal-Tracs installed. That isn't a task I want to take on again anytime soon, even with the help of a friend, hoist, and all the proper tools it took a little over 4hrs. Pressing the stock bushings out of the leaf eye wasn't easy, having a press helped though.

Here are the dyno charts from a few weeks back. This was with the stock trans. Hoping to get back to get some final numbers later this week maybe, have the Airdog and trans done now. So we can test Tunes 4 and 5 from Rob.

Finally got the truck back to the dyno now that the lift pump and transmission have been upgraded. Tune 5 from IdahoRob made 538hp/1055tq...think thats about where it should be for a stock turbo and stock CP3 truck.

Decided it was time to toughen it up some. Nitto Trail Grappler's in 285/65r18 on Gear Alloy Big Block wheels. Got them from RimzOneOnline.com for an awesome price. Came mounted and balanced ready to install, free freight too! Fit great under the stock suspension.

Time for a little better air density! David at Diesel Technology is the man and answered all my questions, this thing looks like a great piece. Excited to see how it works
