Well, Chevy had it's first real issue after buying it in December. Got the phone call from my wife at lunch that truck wouldn't move, SES light was on and it would barely accelerate and revved real high (limp mode). Walked her through the steps of reading/clearing codes on the Edge CTS monitor, which cleared it and she was able to drive some more. Two blocks down the road it did it again. She continued clearing codes trying to make it home, but it started doing it instantly. She had to park the truck and call a cab to get her home, since I'm 45 miles away at work.
Edge said it was a P0700 code, which meant a TCM issue, most likely a code within the TCM the Edge can't read. So I took the shops Snap-On scanner home with me, TCM had a P1713 code. Which is a pressure switch issue, which after some research lead me to the neutral safety switch. I was able to clear the TCM code and drive it home, it would limp every time I came to a stop, so I just had to keep clearing it as I drove. Got the NSBU switch from Allison, going in it this afternoon.
Still haven't found time/ambition to do the lift pump and Cal-Tracs
