I seen this on a F350 a few weeks ago. A customer had this on his truck when he brought it into the shop. What is the purpose of it on the front? On his I think it was a cheap way out of replacing his worn out arse leafs on the front.

Pretty sure they soften the ride along with having the versatility of being able to run a plow without any issues of sagging. Overall a great product if you have the use. I was thinking about purchasing a set.

Yea I think they would be great and appreciate the replys but does anyone have em on a truck ? The ability to adjust for a plow , ride quailty and handling make these seem to good to be true .

TX of course
I thing you would need to re engineer the lower shock mount on our trucks to take the abuse an "air shock" would put on it.

Im going to be ordering a pair of these Firestone Level Rite #1003 here soon for my truck, as Im putting a blade on my truck for the winter and this looks to be the best answer for the front end suspension.

I'm thinking that although you can change the front ride height, you'd have to keep the front at the exact ride height as when you were last aligned, right?

Are these shocks normal height? Like what I mean is if I wanted to level my truck from stock height would I need the shock extending mounts with these shocks to raise the front 2 inches?

Be careful if you use these for plowing. I had air shocks on an older truck and they ended up breaking. Water from the air system froze in the shock body. They work for warm weather, but you have to have really dry air when used in the cold.

Having said that, I have not used them on my truck, and can't comment on the ride, etc.

Whats everyones opinion on how much they would stiffen the ride of a truck with lowered torsion bars to compensate for the softened ride from pressure being let off of the torsion key? Would they help prevent body roll? Also how much does one of these setups cost?
