Well some know I've started a build got my block back on Monday and hoping to get the short block together then jerk my motor to get the heads rebuit and screw in cups and decked then start swapping.

Now my questions I think im going to get a new oil pump mines working just fine just figured id put one in as I've seen it suggested to do so. Does it need pinned or keyed? My overall hp goal is 750-850 so I'm not going extreme extreme but want to be safe also going a new water pump. Anything else I should replace

Build consist of...
Carrillos
Mahles race cast pistons 16.8:1 .020''
Main Studs
screw in cups (II)
Clevite h bearings
new cam bearings
rebuilding the heads new valve guides ect
new oil pump
new water pump

already have
ARP studs
Dual fuelers with a (II) modded pump
366/480 turbos (still need to build piping)
45% over (going to 60 or 100 overs)

Ive been thinking on manifolds and up pipes or at least a lml manifold ill post some pics when I get some good ones :D

anything im forgetting guys?

I used green retaining compound and steaked with a chisel and hammer... Now I have a Socal billet oil pump on 3.0 engine for this season, always ran stock prior, the Socal billet has a small keyway.

That's what a buddy did was lock tight it and he runs it at 800hp. But I figured since mine was apart might as well do it.

You've gotta be excited! Good luck and the more pics the better! May want to do a new oil cooler...I didn't and for 300 some bucks I kinda wished I had. FWIW buy an LBZ oil pump, I hear they might be a touch better

I am new here was wondering if I can ask a question maybe someone will know....I just finished rebuilding the primer on my filter and the only way my motor runs is by either to start up and I'll run it for 20 mins or so and then turn it off and restart it and it will not start on its own....I have no leaks in my fuel lines....could my primer just be junk ? thanks
