On top of that. What are the ups and downs of these engines(lb7)?So I was digging through a thread about how much lbz rods will take. I don't plan on pushing my motor quite yet.... just curious, roughly how much will lb7 rods take? --Wyatt

Anything more than 500 and you're rolling the dice. Good tuning can go a LONG ways in helping one live, but if you are going to play, be ready to pay.
My tuning, s371,head studs HSP install kit for the turbo with waste gate, five inch exhaust and built Suncoast tranny. It us driven everyday on the tune that makes 632 hp and 1200 ft/lbs torque.Wow. What's all done to the rig?

I disagree. These trucks are solid to 3000hp. As long as you have paint matched mirrors and stickers. And I know they're all different from the power standpoint. No need for the "roll the dice" statement

I didn't know the you could detorque with tuning. Learn something new everyday700hp recipe:
S475 1.0 housing
2500+ RPM Stall Converter
Dual Pumps, Stroker Pumps or 30%+ injectors
Detorqued tuning.
I made 701hp and just under 1100 ft lbs
And it's all appreciated. I was being smart, I thought most of the guys on here were tough enough for some grief. You asked a question and you got an answer. No need for the attitude.
