How about tapping it into an A/C line. You would have to custom build a line and mount it closer to the A/C compressor. That should keep it plenty cool without a doupt :thumb:.

Im not sure what you really gained here by doing this. Seems like a shit load of work for nothing. :roflmao: My 2005 is 7 years old now and I have never had a problem with the FICM other than a leaking banjo fitting which now has -8AN fittings now. I was thinking of relocating it at that time, but seeing whats all involved in it im not sure what your gaining other than a sore ass and bad back. :roflmao:

New "cooled" FICM location :D
No the fan is not attached to the cool can, it's just there
Yes the air is being drawn in past the "chilled" cooler in the other pics.
This is not completed yet, there will be a pump circulating cool water

When you put your between the coolant tank and spare battery bracket did you have to extend the wires at all?

Any thoughts on pulling air from CIA through banjo fittings? Use small air filter either stone type or "paper" then run 1/2" line into CIA. Let the turbo(s) pull cool air through FICM. Be vacuum, not a pressure. ??????? Curious as to any more ideas. I'd like to relocate mine as well. I'm in Florida so cooling is kinda a big deal.... 01' LB7

I'm in Florida also. I do not have a single problem with the FICM heat with nothing running through it. It is cooler than it was sitting on the valve cover. Its now mounted in the frame tube where the plastic skid plate bolts.
