Well I ordered it. Will report back after I change out all three trucks. Hopefully this weekend.

Slight thread jack here, would like to know if any one knows or has used a decent quality ball joint separator that will not damage the boots or joints like a fork does and works on the 2001-2010 trucks..?

The bad thing is.... All this working out has made me a little stronger than I thought. I pulled the threads off on the secret shaft, when I was reinstalling the pitman arm. With a 12 inch long wrench:confused:. Good thing i work in a cnc machine shop. Going threadmill the next size down threads, get a new nut, and be done with it.

Avanti 3, MXT 3, XLCT low profile unit, I think 3200ftlbs is the max on the MXT3? The Mill has some bigger ones but I have never needed larger, thankfully.

I have no idea what that lithium animal would cost but you can bet your ass you won't see me buying one.
Avanti 130? Haha.

The 1" lithium is rated for 3k. If someone sponsored me one I wouldn't say no! Otherwise I'm happy with a 10ft cheater bar

just beating on the side of the spindle with a heavy hammer will pop them out just fine.

I could not work without my cordless impact tools. If i had to drag an air house around a truck id probably kill myself

I have the gun that josh H listed in his original post in 1/4" I also have a bigger 3/8" lithium snap on gun and the ingersol wt7150 lithium 1/2" gun. Also have snap on's electric impact ratchet 1/4" which is awesome for working on fords and getting under cowls working. all of them arent in the pic, but just a general idea. i also like the creeper service cart. Nice going over trucks if im on a topside creeper (its adjustable up and down)

I'll be putting this to use later tonight, fixing my booboo with steering box threads. Old 4 axis Mori Seiki cnc milling center. It's called thread milling for those unfamiliar. No need for a lathe or die, uses a rotary cutting and interpolates around shaft to create threads. Works well for things like this, which aren't easily put in a lathe.
