Well the truck threw some codes and went into reduced engine power. Threw map correlation and a fuel pressure code. Cleared them and immediately came back on.

Left the module plugged in and put it on the stock setting. Truck doesn’t throw codes any more. Going to try running it on level 1

The codes would come from the ecm seeing something outside of its limit ranges.

But if it’s fooling the rail and map. The truck shouldn’t know it’s there, unless the vein position and regulator are out of range.

It may can give the hard parts a different number to work from but I doubt that it will changes the high and low range for differences before it sets a code. The veins are electronic with a motor now instead of hydraulic on previous versions.

I wonder if getting the injectors done 15% over would freak the truck out.

I doubt it but it will learn around them. The moment it sees more power from an outside source, it will probably pull power back or throw a code. If the egt sensors are like the lml, the ecm can monitor that and pull fuel back just based on those temps. It’s a good way to make a tow tune keep a certain temp while you run flat out in a lml though lol

I’m running it on level 1 and it seems fine so far. But it only picked up 2-3mph on level one so not so much of a difference. I do plan on logging it within the week to see if the ECM is pulling power. Sounds like I might need to fool the egt sensors.

I was meaning towards doing the 15% over injectors. I would think the afe is fooling the correct sensors but who knows how fast they “rushed it out” and just sorta made it work

I’d really like to see low 13’s and I’d be happy. I’m thinking manifolds and up pipes, Down pipe. Just get everything to help it to run cool. Hopefully we’ll be able to tune the trans and maybe I can keep it from Defueling
