Finally installed the AFE intake. I'm really surprised how much better the truck feels. Throttle response is much better. I really hated how you'd slow down for a red light and it turned green before you stopped there would be a delay before the truck would come back on. That's almost gone now. Doesn't feel faster but it sure is fun to drive now. Truck doesn't fall on its face in between shifts either.

Where the stock box connects to the fender is almost blocked off. It almost seemed like they're trying to get the ram air to work more.

I did notice with the intake the truck is a lot louder (could be why gm didn't open up the fender connection) would be curious to cut out the restriction and try the factory intake.

Couple things I noticed. When in 4wd I feel like there's torque limiting happening 1st-3rd gear, 2wd actually feels faster even without being able to launch. Traction control does a decent job but if you turn it off before the 1-2 shift the truck is faster the rest of the run. If you press the brake pedal too much it will not let you power brake the truck in 2wd, lightly press the pedal just enough to hold the truck back. If using 2wd leaving around 1400rpm works pretty well.
