Are yall sure he doesn't have a boost/drive leak on the piping somewhere?? Just watched the video again... that howl would drive me insane!!! Only did it after the turbos lit :thumb:

I suppose anything's possible but the truck has been checked :thumb: I already stated when the sound started.

I don't know about the sound for sure. It sounds exhaust related. May be the gates. Truck runs pretty strong. Just need to clean it up a little.

Maybe the howl is air rushing past/between the stacks? Although I don't recall hearing the howl on other dual stack setups I've seen vid of...

Just out of curiosity are the atmospheric chargers Bullseye TCT by any chance?? Iy truck makes a howl at spool up with the new TCT 83. I would think 2 of them would be much louder.

They are not TCT chargers as far as I know they are standard cast wheel chargers.

I just did a little reading back and saw that the noise didn't start until the soflo stacks were on so that wouldn't make sense anyways. Hot damn that thing hauls the mail though!!!!

hmm. ive got the same exact stacks from SoFlo and mine dont howl like that. Thank god, cuz id be pulling them off if so, i couldnt put up with that noise lol

Whether the sound is good or bad there is no mistaking it for other trucks when it's making a pass at the track.

I'm sure it something to do with the turbo/exhaust it's not the front tires towed in and scrubbing, this is what that sounds like. This is Max'd Out first race back in 09 at Portland. We were very excited to run a 10.6, how times have changed.
