Got a chance to try out the new machine today. Like it so far. It is a little different than the L175 we had but after running it for a couple hours I'm getting used to it. I was also pleasantly surprised that it doesn't have a DPF.
Hope you like it.
CNH doesn't have one yet, not sure where the 225 falls horsepower wise and if they were going to be using one or not on it.
Got to demo a D series Cat the other day, probably replace our 262C2 sometime this year. Lots of nice changes on this series. Kubota motors now too.
Nothing under the cab and hoses are cleaned up a lot mroe.
Inside is sealed tighter, heater high back seat, electronic throttle (pedal turns into decel at full throttle) and some other little things that are nice. Bluetooth radio now too (this one didnt have it installed)
New advanced display with optional backup camera. Finally can program operators.
This isn't ours but I stopped up to pick up some decals and he just finished tinting the windows on this one. He does all the lettering and tint for our Fendt dealer. The tint is an option and extra but they put your farm name on when you buy one. Probably helps them keep them straight more than anything. Probably going to tint ours this year too. Honestly as much for at night as during the day, the glare is bad at night from how bright all of the lights are.The one in this picture was going to an all Deere farm, it was their first Fendt. More and more everyday.:woott:
Opticoated ours to see how well it would work, few months later now with winter roads and such the stuffs been great, a garden hose can usually get the stuff off the hood. Going to have to opti coat the rest of it now. It does help that Fendt uses a clear unlike most companies.
Working on Milk tankers.
Stumbled across these pics too. First one is very old, its from 2009 IIRC back when we had the Deere. The next video is of the Claas doing the same a couple years ago.

This isn't my picture but from a couple years ago, dealer was delivering it to a localish farmer.
Got my strobes on and working on the Fendt as well. Really bright Whelen M4's. Transistioning all of our stuff to running strobes versus hazards. Makes signals less confusing for cars. Have some that cancel strobes when we turn on a signal. I also put a lot of C2 DOT tap on stuff so you can actually see it. Mounted the rear ones with a deflector so they wouldn't flash in the cab. So annoying before with the flashers, you couldnt use the mirrors because all you saw was bright light.
