I have heard mixed reviews about their balence rates...does bigdipper hone tips or sell new ones...need some experienced insight...also whats the easiest way to pull injectors on the LMM

George sends them out to be honed... they are flowed at 3000psi IIRC then honed out and reflowed at 3000psi. They seem to be holding up personally i want them flowed at real world pressures but it is more expensive to have them flowed at 26,000psi. Too my knowledge DonM(F1) and Guy are the only ones that will flow them at 26,000psi

I also have them flowed at 26k myself. A lot of the problems you hear about are associated with just putting tips on the injector and not having it checked as a unit afterwards.

I plan on using extrude hone for 60% over ,to many do it with out any problems.

x2 George(Extrude Honed) injectors are just tips...

Just buy my brand new Socal 60 overs and be done with it.

I really liked my 45% overs from George and for the price they were a nice set of tips that seemed to be balanced very good and were easy to tune .

2 sets of 40's and a set of 60's now, no issues, best money i beleive ive spent yet!

You don't need any special tools to pull the injectors, just wiggle them out by hand. It's a pretty straight forward job.

yeah never tore into lmm injectors just lb7 i guess just pull the valve cover n pull the injectors.

No need to pull the valve cover, just get everything out of the way and take the fuel lines off.

So I am looking at getting nozzles. Truck has stock turbo for now, but will add more air at a later date, I looked at extrude honed, So when I buy the tips do I send them my injector to have the tips installed and flowed? Or do they send me the tips and I install them myself? Also would 45% or 60% be better for a DD truck that will eventually get a single s472.
