Everybody holding up on the east coast hurricane?

1 tree snapped off in my front yard, lost power at 6:30, came back on around 7:30.. flikkered some since then but is still on.. wind is carrying the mail.. the rain feels like you riding a bike 65 mph.. other than that, we are good..
It wasn't too bad here, seems weird to have a hurricane with cold wind. More like a 4 day nor'easter. I worked all weekend, moving pumps around and keeping them running ( mine dewatering gets real when a hurricane comes through). I feel for those who go through these storms in a city.
How is the expecting mother holding up? You know low pressure brings babies! Hope all is well! Maybe the baby will be named Sandy! LOL
Had a little bit of wind and rain never lost electric all day at work or so far at home tonight looks like ill be working again tomorrow... Why can't I catch a break half the town had no power and for some reason my work had it lol.
Definitely be safe everyone. Just talked to my Grandma. She's in Harlem and my aunt lives on the East River in NYC. Grandma's ok but they shut the power off in the grid which my aunt falls into. Not supposed to be back on til Thursday, best case scenario. she just went food shopping too. Hope the water stays down. Again, be safe and smart!
Crazy damage on the shore on down to Long Island and NYC! Its still dark here so I haven't assed any damage here hope nothing. We were lucky Still have power.

She is very uncomfortable, but other than that everything is good thank you for asking!! Update for everyting else been outa power for 13ish hours. The wather has calmed down alot still a lil rain and wind but nothing compaird to lastnight. Hope everyone else is doing well still. Did anyone see the crane in NY?
Just drove 45 minutes to work and 45 minutes back home and besides only seeing about 10 cars on the road all was normal. It would have been nice if my work called me and told me not to come in before I could see the mother effin building :roflmao:

Never Lost Power ... Hella Winds Yesterday After 5pm ... No Snow At My House Reports Of It About 40 Miles South Tho ... Other Than That A Few Trees Down And Lots Of Rain
Ya I'm going to have to agree I ,in my area anyway, was expecting a lot worse from what they were reporting. Lots of debris in the yard ,thankfully that's It! Others in CT no so lucky! I do feel for them
