Picked up my tap and die set from work just barely. Going to chase all the threads on the block and make sure everything is looking good. Doing every little bit that i can so the machine shop doesn't have to.
Ran a tap through all the threads on the block and cleaned it up as best as possible.
Might sneak the block into my work and throw it in the big automated parts washer just for fun.

Yea I would like to get it all finished up ASAP but I'm closing on my new house next month, and I still need to gather a bunch of random odds and ends. I'm hoping the tax return is real nice, if it is decent, it's all going to the engine

Also getting married 2 weeks from today and we loaded our registry up big time and so far about 90% of it has been bought so hopefully all the little things for the house are taken care of, it's a brand new house so there won't be any fixing up to do.
Between paying my truck off 2 months ago and the closing costs, my checking account is about $30,000 smaller:roflmao:

Ha, I will be married a month tomorrow, sounds like we are at about the same place in life. We got a ton of stuff too which was awesome! Were taking it easy on the honeymoon. The "real" honeymoon will probably be sometime next summer. She wants the whole Hawaii experience..swim with the dolphins Yada yada

Been to Hawaii 3 times in three years and once you've been once you can't stop thinking about it. Maui is great.
Yea I wouldn't mind doing some scuba diving. Been about 10 years since I was certified and been about 10 years since I last went diving:rofl:
